Novus University is a member of the United States Distance Learning Association (www.usdla.org). The USDLA was founded on the premise of creating a powerful alliance to meet the burgeoning education and training needs of learning communities via new concepts of the fusion of communication technologies with learning in broad multi-discipline applications.
The ABA Standards for the Approval of Law Schools currently do not permit JD programs achieved entirely online. Currently all law schools that are 100% online are listed as non-approved by the American Bar Association.
Students attending non-ABA law schools are permitted to join the ABA as associate members.
